Today is Summer Solstice, it is when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky at noon, marked by the longest days. Yet the temperature today is about 26 degree Celsius. Not that hot at all for the sun at its highest point :P
Been working for 18 consecutive days without off, pretty tired but at least i'm having enough work hours, and i'm seeing the green buck coming in.
Lotsa HK drama style drama happening around here. some employees are quitting (or rather attempting to quit) and the bosses are firing (or rather trying to fire) the employees who are hoping to quit but at the same time thinking of ways to keep them to prevent paying the other employees who are not quitting OT pay. so now the not-quitting-employees are trying to predict if they can get more than 40 hours as any extra hours will be considered as OT.
so guess who is the not-quitting-employees who are eager to earn the extra BIG buck?
OH and in between all this drama happening, a side story enacted simultaneously with Josh (the 15 yr old kid) on his way to work on his quad bike met with an accident with a car and an ambulance was called. and all this was broadcast on our walkie-talkie since it was one of our maintenance guy who spotted the accident and the front desk calling for 911.
Whee~ the drama is still airing, will keep ya updated.
ooh ya my right Achilles is healed, but now its my left. life kinda sux here without a Chinese Sensei.
another oh is that today's lunch is the same as today's dinnner, which is a dark brown sauce cooked with pork that is EXTREMELY sweet & salty which equates to HORRIBLE! threw the dinner away before i even eat it. sometimes i wonder what is the standard here to be hired as the executive chef.
MUMMY~ I MISS YOUR HOME COOK MEAL~ though you seldom cook now.
counting down 7 more weeks!
